臉書昨出現2則PO文提及「6月15日下午台北飛韓國機上有MERS感染者於下機後即被檢驗確認」，消息一出，立即被瘋狂轉發，引發恐慌，衛福部疾病管制署今（16）天表示，已接獲韓方回信，韓方表示並無所述之情事，因此臉書所述非事實，正請法務研擬對散播謠言的2名網友依法開罰，最高可科50萬元罰金。
臉書上這2則PO文內容分別由一男一女貼出，提及另一名女性友人在台北前往韓國的飛機上接觸到MERS帶原者，一下飛機後帶原者跟幾位旅客隨即出現發燒症狀並被確診陽性，全遭送往韓國醫院隔離，連手機都被沒收、管制。
訊息PO出後立即被大量轉發，引發關注及恐慌，疾管署不但罕見的在今天凌晨主動發布新聞稿，強調散播不實疫情資訊已觸法，請民眾勿恣意轉發及輕信，第一時間也向韓方求證。
